7 Halloween Spider Crafts for Kindergoths

1. Pompom Spider

A simple pipecleaner craft for little kids.

3. Light-Up Egg Carton Spider

There are dozens of egg-carton spider craft ideas all over the Web, but this one adds an extra touch: You use a battery powered tea light to light up the spider's eyes. I'm not sure where battery operated tea lights are sold, perhaps Michael's or Joann Fabrics.

4. Halloween Spider Ornament

I don't put up a Halloween tree, so if I made this ornament, I'd just use it to decorate the top of a bookshelf or something. Supplies needed for this craft include a glass ornament and a glue gun.

5. Paper Plate Spider Candy Holder

This paper plate spider holds just a bit of candy. I bet most kids already have plastic Halloween treat buckets from Target or whatnot, but this might be fun for littler kids to make for themselves.

6. Paper Plate Spider Hats

These paper plate spider hats can be worn by little bitty goth kids. Kids over age six might feel too silly wearing one.

7. Spider Pumpkin

It's easy to dress up a pumpkin with a few pipecleaners and some paper or felt eyes and mouth cutouts.

Happy crafting!
